FASHION STYLIST. CREATIVE DIRECTOR. VISUAL STORYTELLER.
With an insatiable hunger for all things beautiful and provoking, Erica has always been filled with a lust for life. A creator and interpreter of ideas, Erica is an inspiration seeker and pragmatic dreamer with an innate understanding of wants and desires, focusing on style, travel, food, and fashion.
Erica loves connecting with people and learning about the stories behind them. She enjoys sharing her experiences with others across all forms of media, from photoshoots to foie, and everything in between. Erica thrives on the unique MAGIC created with an amazing team of artists and creatives, and is always ready for the next project. A visionary, Erica’s strength is connecting with her team and envisioning the big picture, bringing it to life with her fashion point of view.
Growing up in the outskirts of San Francisco, Erica was born into a life of travel, as her father worked for a major airline. Flying was frequent, with family trips to Japan and Hawaii- which planted the seeds for a life of travel. Erica began her love affair with fashion and food at an early age, captivated by the gowns in the old musicals and cooking shows (Great Chefs!) she watched with her mom. She spent her childhood lost in fairytales and food- whipping up the weekly family pancake breakfasts and reading Gone With The Wind (that green velvet dress!). In high school, Erica was later selected to be on the Nordstrom Fashion Board and was hooked after the first fashion show. Erica spent her teens flying as much as she could, traveling to see family and friends in Japan, Hawaii, NY, and also her first trips to Europe- always exploring and searching for the cutest shops and neighborhoods. She went on to earn her bachelors degree in sociology at UCLA, specializing in business.
After spending time in Florence studying fashion, photography, and cooking, Erica found herself with a bad case of wanderlust and later spent a year traveling the world solo. While abroad, she built relationships and consulted with local businesses worldwide, from England to Cambodia, and created an early website and blog. Upon her return, Erica worked in the high-end boutiques of Beverly Hills- a crash course in designer-wear, and learned the ins and outs of the fashion industry as she managed an LA-based contemporary cut-and-sew knitwear brand. It was then Erica began styling as a creative outlet. The result of her creative passions and personal branding is what you see here.
Over the years, Erica has provided branding and creative direction for retail and restaurants, consulted for numerous e-commerce companies, worked front of house and managed sales for a landmark historic San Francisco restaurant, and scouted hundreds of brands as a senior buyer for both fashion apparel and gourmet foods. She has a deep understanding of the taste-driven industries, from all aspects and experiences, and knows exactly what consumers want. She is currently a freelance stylist for numerous publications and brands, and an avid eater and home cook.
When she’s not on set, Erica can be found exploring new neighborhoods, hunting down the best boutiques, cafes, and restaurants. From an unmarked tea house to a 3-Michelin star restaurant, Erica loves it all- and would love the chance to share it with you!
